| Description | The purpose of this workshop is to introduce educators to the Exploring Humanitarian Law (EHL) curriculum and prepare them to effectively and easily integrate the EHL curriculum into existing lesson plans.
Exploring Humanitarian Law (EHL) is an adaptable toolkit that gives educators easy-to-use materials to expose students to issues of international humanitarian law, the rules that ensure respect for life and human dignity in war. The toolkit offers educators primary source materials and strategies that reinforce and enrich existing curricula and educational programs. |

| Late Arrivals | This workshop is 4 hours in length (including breaks). In order to meet the needs of all class participants, the class start time is firm. Late arrivals may or may not be admitted at the instructor's discretion. |

| Details | The EHL teacher curriculum (designed for students ages 13-18) was produced by
the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in association with the
Education Development Center and in collaboration with the American Red Cross, and is integrated as part of basic education in seondary school curricula around
the world.
