Workplace Training Classes

 

CPR Adult and Aid First Standard AED: These one-day classes are for business employees who want or need first aid and adult CPR training. The addition of the AED class provides training on Automated External Defibrillation. All are OSHA-compliant, and provide three-year first aid certification and one-year certification in CPR and AED.

 

Adult CPR/Infant and Child CPR: Trainees can take individual classes on Adult, Infant and Child CPR, or can take a combined course. The course provides a one-year CPR certification.

 

Adult CPR/AED: This class provides CPR and AED certification for one year.

 

First Aid: This OSHA-compliant course is for business employees who want first aid training without CPR training. It provides a three-year first aid certification.

 

First Aid with Adult, Infant and Child CPR and AED: Designed for employees of schools, civic and youth groups, as well as childcare professionals, this OSHA-compliant course provides a full spectrum of lifesaving skills training. This course provides three-year first aid certification and one-year certification in CPR and AED.

 

Emergency Response (Professional Rescuer): This program for public safety, emergency, military personnel and healthcare providers includes comprehensive training in responding to almost any medical emergency. It includes a three-year Emergency Response Certificate and a one-year CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certificate.

 

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer: For public safety personnel, lifeguards and healthcare professionals, this course also provides CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider Certification.

 

Other employee training programs: The Red Cross provides courses in Preventing Disease Transmission (Bloodborne Pathogens); Ergonomics; Slips, Trips and Falls; Back Injury Prevention; Workplace Violence Awareness; Managing Stress; and Your Heart Matters.
