Shelter Information

UPDATE: JUNE 23, 2010 (5:00 p.m.)

The Red Cross shelter located at Mount Elden Middle School was closed effective 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. The closure comes after emergency officials lifted the Schultz Fire evacuation, allowing residents to return home safely. Click here to read more.
 
Tips for Preparing for an Evacuation

Being organized and ready is the event of an evacuation will help bring peace of mind to you and your family.

 
 
Register on the Red Cross Safe and Well Website

People impacted by the wildfire are encouraged to register themselves on the Red Cross Safe and Well site or call a family member to register them. Registration can be done with the Safe and Well feature on redcross.org or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Friends and family can then search for your message on the Safe and Well site by using the evacuee’s phone number or complete address.
